President Beck called the meeting to order and provided the evenings agenda. He introduced the evenings guest speaker (far right} and gave a briefing on Kim Berfield, State Representative Dist. 50 background and accomplishments as a Florida State Representative. Her topic; legislative accomplishments in particular with respect to insurance.

Candidate for Court Clerk, Mayor of Clearwater, Brian Aungst (shown with Karen Aungst) provided a review of the necessary duties and responsibilities required of the Court Clerks Office. He detailed how his background exceeds all of these requirements and more.
Mayor of Redington Shores, Jay J. Beyrouti discussed his community, county and state accomplishments as tools he would bring to the Pinellas Commissioners Office. He noted his proven ability to bring about a consensus from all involved in a myriad of local, county and state projects would serve the Commissioners Office well..
Realtor Lucile Casey, noted an understanding of the Pinellas County Real Estate Market and its value enhancement over the past decade as one of the assets she would bring to the County Commissioners seat.
Ronnie Duncan, Entrepreneur and CEO of the Duncan Companies discussed both the appointments by the Governor to chair and participate in multi county development projects along with a business acumen including effective planning as experience both necessary and to utilized as an effective County Commissioner.
Representative for Tom Gallagher discussed his principals skills and talents to be brought to the US Senate seat.
Supervisor of Private Security, Tim Glassburner articulated his past service to the Police and Fire Communities which he would bring to the Pinellas Sheriff's Office.
Representative for Mel Martinez discussed Martinez's experience and commitment he would bring to the US Senate seat.
County Development Officer, Peggy O'Shea announced the county's additional Campaign Headquarters making access by volunteers much easier and reminded all about the annual Pinellas GOP picnic in August.
Scholl Board Candidate, Benjamin discussed his years on the board and the accomplishments resulting from his participation.
Ex Democratic Committeeman, from Philadelphia, shares the mentality and persuasion attributes of many democrats as a means to inform all attendees the nature and scope of dealing with our parties adversaries. Bottom line, as he stated, democrats are not interested in upscale issues like GNP, Economic Indicators, Legislative Snafus but rather -- what is best for me and my family.
